Together we can strengthen our community, support artists across the nation and world, and change the way people think about art, sex, and sexuality.
The Art Activist Society exists to directly support the artistic community in a wide variety of ways. The membership dues are used to:
- Increase grant funding the Festival can offer to artists
- Provide scholarships to artists for whom the entry fees are a barrier
- Keep submissions fees and sales commission rates low
- Fund art projects and collaborations with other organizations
- Reach broader audiences and expose more people to the festival, its artists, and its mission
- Improve the quality and impact of the festival every year
