Friday
From Inspiration to the Page
Hosted by Brianna Malotke
Friday, 8:30-9:15pm, The Library
In this beginner friendly poetry workshop, we will start off with a brief talk over popular poem formats and basic terms. Then we’ll dive into different writing prompts using specific erotic artworks as the inspiration – we’ll discuss the art pieces and do short, timed writing bursts. This combination gets you out of your head and gets words on the page. There will be time to share your creations with others, but you do not have to share. Each writer will walk away from this workshop with 2 or more poems.
Instructor: Brianna Malotke is a writer with a love for pole dancing. She’s been a “Writer in Residence” at the Chateau d’Orquevaux in France and an Artist in Residence at Atelier Ireland. She has over 90 publications in various anthologies, including SEAF’s 2025 Literary Anthology. Most recently, she won the Azerate Poetry Prize 2025. While most of Malotke’s work is within the realms of horror and nightmares, she enjoys writing about love, mental health, and relationships. She has 5 standalone poetry collections. Under the pen name Tori Fields, she has 11 books published with Last Chapter Press.

Bite-Sized Sensuality: Flash Writing and Vignettes to Capture the Provocative in Daily Life
Hosted by Desiree McCullough
Saturday, 1:30-2:00pm, The Library
Desiree McCullough reviews the characteristics of gripping creative nonfiction flash writing with personal examples in the form of slice-of-life vignettes. Participants will be challenged to compose their own flash pieces with prompts, giving writers a renewed desire to seek and dissect sensuality from the mundane.
Instructor: Desiree McCullough is a creative nonfiction writer who delves into the delicious ways women, especially middle-aged moms, embrace sensuality and sexuality post-purity culture. Her work has appeared in multiple literary journals and publications including Huffington Post with an upcoming piece in MOAN Zine’s 2026 print edition. She shares her provocative writing and burlesque journey as Desi Hornez on her Substack “My Clavicle Romance.”
Disability Representation in Erotic Media
Facilitated by La Shonda
Saturday, 2:00-3:30pm, 4Culture Stage
Conversations around erotic art often center desire, identity, and visibility—but disability is still too often left to the margins. This panel will bring together artists, curators, and creatives to explore how people with disabilities are represented across artistic mediums, both as subjects of art and as creators shaping the work itself. Together, we’ll examine the tension between visibility and misrepresentation, the impact of gaze and authorship, and the ways disability intersects with sexuality, power, and storytelling.
Through an open and engaging dialogue, panelists will reflect on the challenges and opportunities of creating more authentic and expansive portrayals of disabled bodies and experiences. This conversation invites audiences to think critically about who gets to be seen, who gets to create, and how the erotic can be reimagined through a more liberated lens.
Facilitator: La Shonda (she/her) is an educator, a mentor, and a coach. Holding a master’s degree in education, she has worked in higher education for over fifteen years and has been developing and facilitating workshops around Sex Education and Consent to adolescents and adults since 2017. She has also presented at several conferences on a range of topics including sex positivity, consent, sensuality, self-care, connection, community building, and inclusive curriculum development.
La Shonda is the founder of Eunique Flow, an organization that is working to reframe conversations around sex and consent using thoughtful reflection and sex positive analysis for young adults and offers classes and workshops for adults who want to better understand the art of sensuality and techniques to connect and reconnect to themselves and/or their partner/s.
Panelists: Peter, aka Mr. Big, is a Seattle resident and lifetime disability advocate, as well as a sex-positive educator, model, actor, and exotic dancer. Mr. Big is a long time fan of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, and has put in his hours as a visual art juror in 2017, a volunteer, a performer, and a docent.
The Body Knows First: Pleasure, grief, and the quiet intelligence of the body
Hosted by V. Black
Saturday, 3:30-4:00pm, The Library
This workshop explores how the body holds desire, memory, and grief—and how erotic attention can become a pathway to truth. Through two original poems and guided reflection and writing prompts, participants will examine how sensation reveals what the mind often avoids.
This is a gentle but powerful experience focused on embodiment, emotional awareness, and the unexpected intersections of pleasure, loss, and reclaiming ourselves through it all.
Instructor: V. Black is a poet and embodied leadership coach exploring power, intuition, and the wild edges of becoming. Her work blends spirituality, somatics, and a playful reverence for the erotic.
Write Your Desire
Hosted by Shana Graham
Saturday, 7:30-8:00pm, The Library

In this experiential writing workshop, you’ll explore the emotional pulse within your desires and bring it into language through guided prompts and embodied imagination. No writing experience necessary. Just bring your curiosity and openness, and leave with new insight, fresh writing, and a deeper connection to your own wanting.

Polyamory Artists’ Panel
Facilitated by Evergreen Hearts
Sunday, 12:30-1:30pm, 4Culture Stage
Step into a conversation where art and relationship philosophy meet on the main stage of the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival. This special edition of Polyamory Talks brings together featured festival artists for an intimate, one-hour panel exploring how polyamory shapes creative expression. Set within one of the most celebrated erotic art festivals in the country, this experience offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from artists whose work is influenced by non-traditional love, identity, and connection.
Through candid discussion, panelists will share how their lived experiences inform their artistic voice, themes, and creative process. From vulnerability and intimacy to autonomy and expansion, attendees will gain insight into how polyamory can inspire bold, meaningful, and deeply personal works of art. Whether you are an artist yourself or simply curious about the intersection of creativity and relationships, this conversation invites you to see both through a new lens.
Featured artists include Feral Maz (@studio_maz), Miguel Ludert (@seeking.soma), Evoe Thorne (@evoeseye), Valkyrie HD (@Valkyrie_hd), and Peter Huisenga (@alchemy.imaging)—each bringing a distinct perspective and body of work to the stage. Join us for a thoughtful, engaging, and visually inspired dialogue that captures the spirit of SEAF while expanding the conversation around modern relationships and artistic expression.
