
Hello all you delightful artists! It’s time for some quick CFA updates!
Yesterday was December 15, which means that Literary, Interactive, and Performance all closed their calls. A big thank you to everyone who submitted. Be sure to watch your email, our site, and our social media accounts for updates on when accepted artists will be announced and the next steps. December 15 also marks the closing of the Early Bird discount for Visual Art submissions. From today until the close of the call, the submission fee is $38. If the submission fee is a barrier, please reach out and inquire about our scholarship program.
The Current Calls
The Call for Visual Art submissions run through January 15, 2026. Artists will submit their art through the Submission Portal as they have in previous years. If you have submitted to SEAF before, remember that we wipe the portal every year, and so you’ll need to make a new account. You can go ahead and register now, and still make changes to your submissions up until the end of the call.
The Call for Store Art submissions also runs through January 15, 2026. Artists will submit their art through the Submission Portal as they have in previous years. As stated above we wipe the portal every year, and so you’ll need to make a new account even if you’ve submitted before. There is no fee for Store entries. Artists of all mediums are encouraged to submit to the store. Yes, that includes Literary, Performance, and Interactive artists if you have a physical object (like books, bookmarks, stickers, prints, pasties, etc.) that could easily be sold in the store.
